Katy B. Kozhimannil is an assistant professor in the Division of Health Policy and Management at the University of Minnesota School of Public Health.
Her research applies the tools of health policy and health services research to the field of women’s health, with a focus on the perinatal period. She conducts research to inform the development, implementation, and evaluation of health policy that impacts reproductive-age women and their families.
Katy teaches courses that teach students skills to effectively engage in the policy process, and works extensively with community organizations and policy makers on efforts to improve the health of women and families.
