The Women’s March on Washington will send a bold message to our new administration on their first day in office, and to the world, that women’s rights are human rights. We stand together, recognizing that defending the most marginalized among us is defending all of us….”
– Mission statement of the Women’s March on Washington

This Saturday, January 21, hundreds of thousands of people will gather at the Women’s March on Washington or at one of the many sister marches happening in cities across the country.

Myhags (My) is one of the many partner organizations supporting the event. My founders, board members, staff, supporters, and friends will be marching in Washington D.C., Boston, New York City, and Seattle. We hope you will join us!

Here’s how:

WASHINGTON D.C.
The D.C. group will meet at 9 a.m. at the Southwest corner of the John Marshal Park, across from the Canadian Embassy. This is close to the Judiciary Square Metro stop. Look for the white 3’ by 6’ Myhags banner (see below). Contact person: Julie Childers (My Exec Dir), [email protected]

BOSTON:
The Boston area group will meet at 10:45 a.m. at the “Make Way for Ducklings” statue in the Boston Public Garden. Look for the big, bright orange Myhags banner (see below). Contact person: Melanie Floyd, [email protected]

NEW YORK CITY
The NYC group will meet at 9:45 a.m. on the NW corner of 47th Street and 2nd Avenue. There is a small area at the entrance of the building that says ONE DAG. Look for the 3’ by 6’ Myhags banner (see below). Contact person: Carol Ciancutti, [email protected].

SEATTLE
The Seattle group will meet at 9:45 a.m at the corner of 22nd Ave South and S. Norman St. Look for the 3’ by 6’ Myhags banner (see below). Contact person: Amie Newman, [email protected].

If you march, with us or others, please share your photos and signs! Tweet them to @oboshealth with the hashtag #womensmarch, or email them to [email protected]. Also, follow us on Facebook — we’ll be posting regular updates.
