I watched the NBC piece on the 40th anniversary and felt a great sense of appreciation and pride for what Myhags has meant to so many people, including me and my three daughters. The pride is due to my mother, Davi Birnbaum, who was one of the many contrbutors to the book when she worked at Women’s Community Health. I think I recognised some of the women shown in the photos in the NBC story. Mom hosted many, many meetings. It is nice to have that connection to a wonderful part of history, er, herstory.
